     To answer and solve the various problems that exist in life then gives a wide range of science. Based on the philosophy of science considered as the mother of the sciences, then the science in the group into 3 (three), namely:

Natural Sciences (natural science). Natural sciences aims to know kilter-regularity that exists in the universe. To examine this used the scientific method. The trick is to determine the applicable law regarding the regularity-the regularity of it, and then made an analysis to determine a quality.
Social studies (social science). social studies aims to examine the regularity-order contained in the relations between human beings. To review these terms of use the scientific method as a loan from the natural sciences.
Knowledge of culture (the humanities) aims to understand and find the meaning ofreality-a reality that is humane. To examine this used method of disclosure of the events and facts that are unique, then given sense.
Basic social science is the science that studies/studying about social problems in a society that is expected to provide basic knowledge and common understanding of the concepts diekembangkan to review the problem of human beings.

Thus the basic social studies lessons given to the students as an ingredient for a course or courses. Basic public social subjects are given in order to attempt to provide a basic knowledge and common understanding of the concepts that were developedin order to study the social symptoms so that responsiveness, presepsi, and students ' reasoning in the face of his social environment.

Special purpose

Understand and be aware of the existence of social facts and matters of social concern which exists in the community.
Sensitive to social problems and responds to participate in this effort.
Realize that any social problems that arise in society are always complex and can only be approached him (foster).
Understand the way the mind o science proportion and can communicate with them o order social problem countermeasure that arise in the community.
The Scope Of The Basic Social Science

   Social Science covers basic social problems that arise in a society. To elucidate the social problems should first be able to identify the social facts and understand a number of social concept. So the basic social sciences can be distinguished over three beasar namely:
The social facts that exists in society, which together constitute a particular social problem.
Social concepts or notions-notion of social facts are restricted to basic concepts orelementary course which is indispensable to the study of social problems that are discussed in the social sciences.
Social problems arising in society, usually engaged in various social facts that one with more inter-related to each other.

   Basic social sciences consists of 8 (eight) the subject matter of discussion. From thedeliberations of the eighth principal scope of basic social Science lectures are expected to learn and understand the existence of:
Population issues in relation with the development of society and culture.
Problems of individuals, families and communities.

The issue of youth and socialization
The issue of the relationship between Citizen and State
Problems of socio and similarity degree.
The problem of urban communities and rural issues.
The problem of social contradictions and integration.
The utilization of science and technology for the prosperity and the keserjahteraan society.
